Terms of Service

Freightwizard helps freight forwarders handle their email: it reads and analyses emails from the mailbox you connect, extracts shipment details, suggests replies, and helps with quotes, rate cards, documents, shipments and customer portals. It is a professional tool for businesses.

We develop the service continuously. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a main feature of a paid plan, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must give correct information and keep it up to date.

• You sign in with Google or Microsoft and give Freightwizard access to your mailbox. You can remove that access at any time (see the Privacy Policy, section 4).
• Only connect a mailbox you are allowed to use. Keep your devices and your Google or Microsoft account secure; you are responsible for what happens through your account.
• Tell us right away at privacy@freightwizard.app if you think someone else has used your account.

New accounts start with a free trial of 14 days or 30 AI email analyses, whichever comes first. No credit card is needed. After the trial, the paid features are locked until you choose a plan; your data stays available to you.

• Plans, prices and limits are shown on the pricing page (https://www.freightwizard.app/pricing) when you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added where the law requires it.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We charge the payment method you gave at the start of each period.
• We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.
• If a payment fails, we may limit the paid features until it is paid.
• Enterprise plans can be agreed in a separate contract, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

• You can cancel anytime from your billing page. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then you keep access to your plan. There is no charge after that.
• 7-day refund on your first payment: if you are not satisfied, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment by writing to privacy@freightwizard.app, and we will refund that payment in full. Other payments are not refunded for partly used periods, unless the law requires it.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Do not use Freightwizard to:

• send spam, phishing or unlawful content, or break the law, including data protection, export control and sanctions law;
• process data you are not allowed to process, or special categories of personal data (for example health data);
• attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits or security;
• access other users' data, or resell the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

Your emails, documents and business data remain yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your mailbox data to train general-purpose AI models.

Your emails and documents may contain personal data of other people. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process that data with Freightwizard. For that data we act as your processor; business customers can ask for our data processing agreement at privacy@freightwizard.app.

Analyses, extracted details, summaries, suggested replies, quotes and document comparisons are produced with AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Check them before you rely on them, and before you send anything to a customer, carrier or authority. Freightwizard does not give legal, customs, tax or insurance advice. You decide what you send, and you are responsible for it.

Freightwizard works with services from others: Google, Microsoft, Stripe, and lookup services such as Serpro, Siscomex, the European Commission, Terminal49 and Portbase. Their own terms apply to them. We are not responsible for their availability or for the correctness of the information they return.

A customer portal link gives anyone who has the link access to the quote or shipment it shows. Only share it with the right people.

The service, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription, for your own business. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

We work to keep Freightwizard available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will be free of interruptions or errors. We may carry out maintenance, preferably at quiet times.

To the extent the law allows:

• the service is provided "as is" and "as available";
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as lost profit, lost business, lost data or damage caused by decisions based on AI results;
• our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.

These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent (dolo) or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them to be limited.

If you use Freightwizard for a business, you will compensate us for claims by third parties that result from your content or from your breach of these terms or of the law, except where we caused the damage.

You can stop using Freightwizard at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. When the agreement ends, your access stops. You can ask for an export of your data within 30 days; after that we delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may change these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then; if you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Curitiba, State of Paraná, Brazil, have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live. Data protection rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the LGPD, described in the Privacy Policy, apply in addition.

These terms are offered in English, Portuguese and Dutch. If the versions differ, the English version prevails, unless the law requires otherwise.
